These terms cover the products Opsmith provides: the digital planners sold through our Etsy shop, this website, and the Firstlight desktop app. Using any of them means you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Opsmith is a small business operated by Kelley Bamer. Contact: kelley@opsmithhq.com.

Firstlight

Firstlight is a Windows desktop app that turns game recordings into short clips and, when you choose, posts them to services you have linked. It runs on your own computer. Your recordings, transcripts, analysis, and credentials stay there; Opsmith operates no server that receives them.

Firstlight is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is in active development and may change or stop working with a linked service when that service changes. We are not liable for lost recordings, failed posts, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Keep your own backups.

Linked services

When you link Discord, YouTube, or TikTok, you are using those services under their own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service and the TikTok Terms of Service. You are responsible for the content you post, for having the rights to any music or footage in it, and for following each service's community rules. Firstlight posts only what you explicitly send, to accounts you explicitly linked. You can unlink any service at any time in Firstlight's Settings.

Your content

You own your recordings and clips. Opsmith claims no rights in anything you create with Firstlight and never receives a copy of it.

Digital planners

Planners bought through our Etsy shop are digital downloads for your personal use. They may not be resold or redistributed. Purchases made on Etsy are also subject to Etsy's terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use our products to break the law, to violate a linked service's terms, or to post content you do not have the right to post.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with the date above. We may discontinue a product or a feature. You may stop using any product at any time; for Firstlight, uninstalling it and unlinking your accounts ends everything.
