Privacy Policy

Last updated August 20, 2026

Opsmith is a small business that makes digital planning products. This page describes exactly what we collect, which is very little, and what we do with it, which is very little.

What we collect

If you enter your email address on opsmithhq.com/subscribe, we store that address along with the date and time you submitted it, a note that it came from that page, and a copy of the consent wording shown to you at the time. That is the whole record. We do not ask for your name, and we do not have a field for anything else.

We do not set cookies on that page. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first way to measure page visits. It creates no personal profiles, does no cross-site tracking, and we never sell the data.

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as IP address and browser type in order to serve and protect the site. That processing is Cloudflare's, under their privacy policy, and we do not build our own profile from it.

What we use it for

One thing: to email you when a new planner launches. We do not send anything else to that list.

What we never do

Keeping it, and getting rid of it

We keep your address until you ask us to remove it. To unsubscribe, reply to any email you receive from us, or write to kelley@opsmithhq.com โ€” either one works, and we will remove you.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it outright. Write to the same address. We will not ask you to explain why.

Buying something

We sell through third-party marketplaces such as Etsy and Payhip. When you buy there, the purchase happens on their platform under their privacy policies and their terms. We never receive your payment card details.

Our use of the Pinterest API

Opsmith operates a Pinterest application that connects to our own Opsmith Pinterest business account. It publishes our own product images to our own boards and reads the performance statistics for those posts. It does not access other Pinterest users' Pins, boards, or account data, it does not act on behalf of anyone but us, and it collects no personal information about anyone through Pinterest. The access credentials are held privately by us and are not shared with any third party.

Firstlight and YouTube API Services

Firstlight is a Windows desktop app made by Opsmith. It uses YouTube API Services only when you choose to link your YouTube account. Your use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

When you link YouTube, Firstlight stores an OAuth refresh token locally in Windows Credential Manager. It uses that token only to upload videos you choose. Firstlight requests only the YouTube upload permission. You can revoke access by unlinking YouTube in Firstlight or through Google's security settings.

Firstlight sends no recording, transcript, or personal data to Opsmith servers, because there are no Opsmith servers. Its recordings, transcripts, and analysis stay on your computer.

Children

Opsmith is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. We do not make changes retroactively.
